"Great food! Great service! The staff was extremely friendly and captured the atmosphere of a small town. Great place to have a date night where you can just enjoy the food. And if the weather is right then you can even sit outside."

"This is a typical Meat and three restaurant but so much better than the usual ones I frequent. The servers know their customers by name and don't mind razzing them in a friendly way. I had not eaten all day so I went "fresh' BBQ with Texas Slaw (yes Texas) and white beans. It was all really good. When I asked the server what Texas slaw was she said 'its really sweet'.....we have red and white slaw too. I went Texas since I have been to Texas yet never heard of nor seen Texas slaw. It was really sweet and I am not sure I'd get it again but it was definitely unique. I like unique. The BBQ was fresh. The sauce was on the side and was vinegar based. The white beans were piping hot and good as well. My travel partner got the 3 veggie plate and liked it. Their cornbread is different. Not bad. Just different. Almost like cornbread and cornpone had a pastry baby."

"Apparently they gave changed ownership. we have eaten there off and on for 15 years..Seafood was the best. Oysters and shrimp were good but flounder was not. Looked as if it was purchased preloaded the fried. Had a weird taste. Perhaps it was fried in same oil as other foods. Don't know but I doubt I order that again."

"Excellent service and food. Not much else to say, its a really good family resturaunt with plenty of seating and fresh food, and seafood. The Village burger is a solid American burger, and the beef was cooked properly, everything was served hot and was quick to the table and the price was extremely fair. The family that owns it is above and beyond, incredibly friendly and will make you feel at home. Can't say enough good things about this quaint and lovely resturaunt."

"I have dined here a few time over the past few months. The sandwiches are eatable but nothing to brag about. However the wait stuff are wonderful and very pleasant to deal with. They have plate lunches/dinners that look really good if you like home cooked southern foods. There seems to be a lot of regulars that dine here. The place does not look very big on the outside but they have a good amount of seating indoors and a small dinning area outside. So if you pull up and the parking lot is full don't let that detour you. We have always been able to walk in and get a table. Once I have tried their plate lunches maybe I'll be able to give it a higher star rating."

"We met some family and friends here. They had been here before. The restaurant was busy and we opted to sit outside. Our waitress came over quickly and got our orders. She was friendly and attentive. We ordered the appetizer sampler it was good. Our orders included Shrimp plate, Catfish plates, Flounder plate, and Quesadilla. The food was really good."

"Spaghetti meal was awesome. Large helping and garlic toast. The sweet tea is a true southern treat."
